Ex- Heavyweight Champ Joe Frazier Dies at 67

Former Heavy weight ex-boxing champion Joe Frazier succumbs to Liver Cancer at the age of 67."Smoking " Joe Frazier, was the first man to defeat Muhammad Ali. He won the undisputed heavyweight title with a 15-round decision over Ali at Madison Square Garden in March 1971, in an extravaganza known as the Fight of the Century. Joe Frazier spent much of his career being taunted and over shadowed by his popular nemesis Muhammad Ali. The long time rivalry between the two fierce competitors entertained the world and transformed the world of boxing.

Frazier spent most of his years in retirement working with kids in his Philadelphia boxing gym, including two of his own who became boxers, son Marvis and daughter Jacqui.

"Regardless of who you are, you have to think one way, and the right way, to be accepted by the man above," Frazier said. "He calls the shots."

Boxing Legend Joe Frazier won 32 fights in all, 27 by knockouts, losing four times — twice to Ali in furious bouts and twice to George Foreman.

Rest In Peace, you will be missed.
