Self Preservation: Maintaining a Healthy You!

Our jobs and daily activities have a direct impact on our mental and physical health. If you don't believe me...think about your commute to and from work. On an average day we are exposed to thousands of germs and diseases, strenuous work and social situations and distressed commuters who will knock you out the way to get to their destinations!
The daily pressures of life can be a bit overwhelming. We must work hard to survive and maintain our economic standing. Despite these obvious obligations, we must be careful not to run ourselves into the ground. It is so very important for people to take care of themselves. Physical and Psychological health are the key factors to a healthy life style and self preservation.

Why not try to live life stress free?!

A positive mental outlook could increase your life span and prevent dreaded burn out

Start by changing your outlook on life. The glass is not half empty, it is half full! Whenever things get you down, go back to the basics. Daily appreciation of the little things, like food, clothing and shelter are a must! Nine times out of ten your situation isn't as bad as you think; someone is always worse off than you.

Physical activities can help to relieve a great deal of stress. Ever hear the expression, lets make love not war ? Well, give it a try! A good roll in the hay is a sure fire way to relieve stress and tension. Going to the gym or a 5 minute walk can also help eliminate stress and make for a healthier you.

Talking it over with family or friends! Good friendships and family can help you weather a mental storm. Talking to people close to you allows you time to vent and get things off your chest.

Life will always be filled with tough situations and challenges...Let's be healthy enough to face them head on!
