Support...where is it?!

Hey Its me Ms.Chyna BlaQ! Here to air out some real facts! Well as you know creating events and shopping out venues is a small part of my grind. I love having a hand in creating successful social events. It makes me feel good to see others really enjoy themselves. I get pleasure in helping to create a platform for artists to display their talents....but where is the Support?! If there is a smalll door fee, its there for a reason! People don't understand it costs to keep these spots open!! Owners need to pay rent!! Djs need to be Paid!! Hell I don't even get paid!! It gets a bit frustrating when the Fellas are squeezing that 5 or 10 dollars!! Or want to breeze by with the lame head nod like, "what up fam"?! C'mon Son!!! Yes its the Fellas!! I have noticed Females support way more and don't have a problem paying at the door or the bar!!! HHhhmmmm.

You don't want to pay at the door but you got 10 songs and we can't get you off stage. Preach!!! Okay, I am going to be good. Lets Step our game up people and support each other please!! How do you feel about it? Am I Dead wrong for posting this Blog?! Lets Agree to Disagree? Remember talk is Cheap- Drop a Dime on Em!!

Text Mess Mania!

Texting is the most popular and frequently used feature in Cell Phone Communication Today! Everywhere you look,  young and old are tapping away at their key pads! Its a quick and easy way to communicate with others. But Text messaging can also present itself as a possible distraction or danger to its users.




Is text messages putting you or others at risk? You should never text while driving or crossing the street or while operating machinary! You would think that these are obvious "NO, NO's", but there are people that take risks all the time! There are laws that prohibit text messaging while driving. Despite the restrictions, many drivers continue to take risks and get into accidents. Some Jobs are also delivering strict disciplinary action against employees text messaging at work.


This new wave of  finger exercise has even effected the English Language! Text messaging  has created a whole new short hand of abbreviated Lingo that everyone seems to understand! OMG! SMH! BRB! LOL! BFF! and the list goes on! Maybe I am thinking way to hard but, this can't be good for young people or anybody who is trying to learn the English Language. Abbreviations are a handy way for a quick message and a even better way to diminish a well stored vocabulary. Hello!

Whats your take on it? Is your Cellphone distracting you? Are you talking/ text messaging at work or while driving? Does your cellphone use interfere or become a problem within your relationship?  Be Honest!

Should We Spank Our Kids?

How do you Discipline your children?
Do you believe in giving a child a good old fashioned spanking? Inquiring minds want to know!

Some parents don't see any harm in spanking their children. Growing up many of us have experienced first hand how this type of discipline works.  Now a days what seemed to be a standard method of discipline, is now considered by some to be abuse.

What concerns me is, where do you draw the line?


If you spank your child when angry, its possible to go too far? There are too many cases where children have been hurt by the hands of frustrated adults. In some cases infants and toddlers loose their lives to a hot headed parent that has lost control. This could happen to Anyone! Parents it is so much wiser to take a deep breath and then think about the appropriate punishment for your child.

One time for you Mind: Doesn't hitting/spanking your child seem a bit Primitive or Barbaric? If we are conditioned to solving problems with some sort of physical violence...what are we really teaching our kids? 

Children need Discipline and Structure!

Don't get me wrong, I am not totally against spankings, but I don't think they should be a primary choice of disciplining children. There are other options like "time outs", taking away privileges or even talking to them. At the end of the day, these other choices make for a  healthier parent and child relationship.
